What is the duration of study programs in Poland ?

The duration varies between 1 – 6 years depending on the courses of study.

What is the preparatory study for international students?

The main aim of the Preparatory courses is to improve student’s knowledge, skills and abilities that are necessary for successful studying at the Polish universities, and helping them in their adaptation to the new social and cultural life.
After successful completion of the Preparatory School the students will get the Certificate that allows to enter any university in Poland according to the chosen specialty.

How long is the admission process?

After application process is started by you, due to numerous universities teaching similar courses. We will provide you list of available universities matching your criteria with details about duration and tuition fees and we proceed in accordance to your request. We evaluate and process your admission for pre acceptance letter from the university once you pay University recruitment fee. Once accepted we send you a scanned copy of pre acceptance letter from the university and provide University bank details or University website to pay tuition fees directly to the university. You scan us a copy of payment of tuition and we confirm it with the university to issue acceptance or invitation letter.This process takes approximately about two weeks. As soon as the invitation letters are ready, we send hard copies of them via Post and you can apply for visa.

What is acceptance/invitation letter ?

The acceptance or invitation letter is the official document, which is processed by the department of passport-visa service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Poland. It confirms that the student is admitted to a particular University. It specifies your passport with details and the full details of the University. This letter is required by the Polish Embassy to stamp the visa on your passport. Generally, it takes around 2-4 days for the acceptance letter to be processed by your Polish University.

Do i need to provide additional documents?

In some cases some universities require students to provide additional documents that are translated, notarized.

What is recruitment fee?

All Polish Universities charge recruitment fees before processing students admission.

What is service fee ?

The service fee is one of the charges of the application process . It covers the costs of your admission, evaluation of documents, consultation and postal services as well as the costs of all related administrative services.

How can I pay for the recruitment or service fee?

When is the application deadline for admission?

The academic year in most Polish Universities are divided in two terms:

– the first term lasts from October till January and is followed by exams;

– the second term lasts from February till June .

Can we pay the tuition fee in installments ?

Yes, you can pay the fee in installments.

Will my tuition be refunded?

In the case of visa refusal or other reasons, tuition will be refunded provided visa refusal letter is provided or other supporting documents.This process may take 2-3 weeks.

Are students allowed to work in Poland?

Foreign students can work and get internship placements in Poland with their resident or student permit.

In what languages do the teachers teach ?

Studies are provided in English language for international students.

Do we need to pay for books and exam fee separately or is it included in the fee ?

It is included in the Tuition fee.

Do we need to pass any English test like IELTS,TOEFL, British Council FCE/CAE for seeking admission into Polish Universities ?​

Yes, but it is not mandatory for English native speakers or candidates whose documents confirm education background in English spoken secondary / high school or study course.

How is the accommodation arrangement and what are the charges ?

The University Hostels and rented apartments are available for accommodation.

Will I have to incur some additional expenses upon arrival in Poland?

Once Tuition, University recruitment fee, Service fee and Airport pickup fee is paid online prior to arrival. No other charges are required.

Do you provide visa support letter ?

A visa support letter is detailed information from the university sent to the Embassy of Poland located in your country to confirm that your invitation to study is genuine and is provided only upon request only.

What happens after I submit the form?

The on-line application is a step-by-step process. After filling out and submitting the initial form with your choice of study program and interview location, as well as your contact information, you should:

1) Receive an e-mail with login information to the applicant profile interface. If the e-mail will not reach your mailbox within 3 working days, please check your e-mail spam folder. If it’s not there either, contact our admission staff for assistance.

2) Log in in order to:

  • fill out a questionnaire regarding your education, aptitude tests taken and personal statement,
  • upload scanned copies of the required certificates and documents,
  • pay a processing fee in amount of 85 PLN, using the on-line payments module.

3) Having done that, submit the application by clicking on the green “Submit” button and an admission officer will assess your eligibility for the selected program. This will take up to one week. Our staff will contact you to request additional documents/information, if necessary.

4) If found eligible, you will receive an automated confirmation e-mail to inform you that you have been qualified for an entrance interview. You should transfer your interview fee at this point, choose your preferred date and place for the interview. The full list of available interview sessions can also be found HERE. Once this is done, conclude this step by clicking on the “Submit” button.

5) An admission officer will verify, if there are still spots available for your chosen interview session and you will receive a follow-up e-mail to set your interview appointment. After this is done, you will have the option to download and print out an official interview invitation from the system, should you need one for visa application, etc.

6) The interview is the final step of the process. You can read about it HERE. Please bring all the hard copies of your application documents along to submit them during your interview.

7) You will receive an e-mail with a provisional outcome of your interview within 7 working days from the date of the interview. The official admission decision letter will be mailed to you within 6 weeks from the date of your interview.

Processing fee

The processing fee in the amount of 85 PLN is one of the requirements of the application process at PUMS. It covers the costs of:

  • on-line admission system maintenance,
  • interview preparation – access to sample admissions self-assessment quizzes that will give you a notion of what types of questions to expect on the science quiz as well as during the oral part of your interview.

Interview fee

The interview fee is one of the requirements of the application process at PUMS. It covers the costs of your personal interview and entrance examination, as well as the costs of all related administrative services.

The fee is dependent on the admission office processing your application.
